Greetings Bloggers! Y E O V I L T gone, another 20km, (20.75km actually) for 'T' in the bag, now this was a beautiful run. Across the Stour water meadows, climb to the top of Hengistbury Head, magnificent views across Christchurch Harbour, to the Isle of Wight and out across the Solent and the Channel, then along the sea front, and up one of the infamous Bournemouth zig zag paths. Went past 100km at the top of the Head.
Ian (www.gearsandtears.com, click on C639) completed the latest stage of his Challenge 639, a good steady run around the beautiful Compton 20, details on the web site!
So where do we go from here... Tomorrow at the Bunny, the famous Yeovil Town RRC 10k, one of the fastest around and the ideal place for a PB. I will be doing the 5k route followed by the 10k race, one thing is for sure, no PB for me, that deals with the 'O' in Town!!! Sales meeting on Tuesday, so 15k before I leave for Bromsgrove and 8k when I get back to Castle Cary, 23k for the 'W'. Wednesday morning 9k of the 14k for the 'N' in Town, then 5k at the Yeovilton race in the evening!
I will be joining Dorset Doddlers for one of their pub runs at some stage, really looking forward to that, date and distance to follow.
Other firm dates
I will be joining Ian, along with my Daughter Kris, for a little 14km jog around the Devils Punchbowl on Saturday 21st, then a special day, I will be joining my Nieces, Rebecca and Jessica, as well as Jen and Kris, for a gentle 9k on Sunday 22nd. A family affair!
ROAD dates to follow.. Enjoy your choices, enjoy doing what you choose to do, and think about Arthur and Alfie, who, as things stand, will not have that choice.
